Synopsis: Art Room announces a call for entry for its Now | Contemporary 2023 show, juried by Caroline Frost, Assistant Director at Commerce Gallery in Lockhart, Texas, and contributing writer for Glasstire. This exhibition invites artists to submit compelling and contemporary artwork. All media—including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawings, sculpture in any medium, collage, printmaking, and photography—will be considered. The exhibition will be on display in the Program Gallery at Arts Fort Worth from March 3 through April 4, 2023.
Art Room is pleased to collaborate with Arts Fort Worth to provide an inspirational space for our Fort Worth community of young artists over the summer so that they may continue to stretch their creativity and imagination in a nurturing environment that champions art-making.
Art can improve education through student performance, such as attendance, academic achievement, and graduation rate.
Art also plays an increasing role in health and well-being. Art Room strives to provide resources for students to continue to learn art and find their voices in a time of such uncertainty.

This exhibition invites accomplished artist and educator Tiffany Wolf Smith to act as the juror, who will select a compelling group of artworks to be exhibited Arts Fort Worth. All media—including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawings, sculpture in any medium, collage, printmaking, photography—will be considered.
The arts impact young lives in many different ways—through increased academic performance, ability to think critically, and overall health/well-being. And, let's face it, art is just plain fun!

Art Room presents its annual juried exhibition Now | Contemporary 2022 at Arts Fort Worth, which features a compelling group of artworks in a variety of media. The exhibition showcases work by Paul Armstrong, Lane Banks, Kimberlea Bass, Carol Benson, Michael Burns, Randall Day, Hector Del Campo, Mckee Frazior, Sara Ishii, Katie McKay Jones, Carlos Ocando, Raul Rodriguez, Abbie Stellar, Kathleen Thum, Amye Wake, and Matthew Wood. The show runs from March 4 through 26, 2022.
