ABOUT THE CLASS
Tuesdays | February 4 – 25, 2020
Choose from the following times:
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Designed for students with some watercolor painting experience, this beginner to intermediate course will continue to explore techniques and compositions in watercolor, this time centering around a botanical theme.
We will work from life as well as source photos of plants and still-life set-ups. The class is designed to be fun and encourages risk-taking in painting. We will aim to provide a relaxed environment in which students can learn to let go and enjoy the sometimes loose, serendipitous process of watercolor.
Students will leave the course with a solid sense of how to approach intermediate-level compositions, botanical subjects, and a burgeoning sense of personal painting style.
Number of students: 10 – 15
Students must supply their own materials.
