Fibers is making a comeback and we’re going to get warped! Students will learn multiple basic fiber-based art projects, including weaving, embroidery, and tie-dye garment design. Throughout the camp, students will learn about using a chipboard loom, how to warp & weave fibers, and create a patterned wall tapestry with fun fringe. They will make several projects like a colorful stitched embroidery sampler and their own tie-dye garment of clothing!
The summer camp session is open to the public. All supplies are included.***
*** For tie-dye projects, we require each student to bring his/her own pre-washed white shirt/skirt/dress to class.
