Class and Workshop Proposal

Art Room offers a variety of classes and workshops throughout the year at the Art Room Annex. We provide room for creative dialogue and discovery as we bring together students and artists to grow as creative makers and critical thinkers. We invite local artists to collaborate with Art Room and our mission to create a space for artistic experimentation and research. During classes and workshops held at the Art Room Annex, multi-generational artists and students can come together to develop their craft and skills, while making time to simply create art in an exciting and inspirational setting.

  • Classes are offered on a rotating eight-week schedule (the classes include eight, three-hour class periods).
  • Workshops are one-day sessions.
  • Master Classes are immersive three-day experiences (generally scheduled Friday through Sunday).

Instructors of classes and workshops at the Art Room Annex earn 20% of the tuition earnings. The remainder of the funds received from the classes and workshops go towards our Youth Programs, which provide art education to middle and high school students in the Fort Worth community.
