Synopsis: Art Room announces a call for entry for its 5th Annual Small Works Show. This physical exhibition invites artists to submit compelling small-scale artwork. All media—including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawings, sculpture in any medium, collage, printmaking, photography—will be considered. The exhibition will be on display in the Transystems Corporation Gallery at Arts Fort Worth.
2022 Juror Information: Art Room— Katie Murray
Eligibility: Open to multigenerational makers. All media—including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawings, sculpture in any medium, collage, printmaking, photography—will be considered. Work must be no more than 12 inches (12”) in any direction, including the framing or mounting. The size given for works should be the framed size. Height must be given before width regardless of whether the work is a vertical or horizontal piece. The artwork may represent any subject matter. Works on paper must be framed under plexiglass or glass—plexiglass is preferred. Please respect these eligibility requirements.
Fees: $30 for one to five images of artwork
Requirements: Please submit images with the following specifications:
800 pixels on the longest side
No borders around the image
JPEG file format
Label your image files with a corresponding entry number, your last name, and the title of the artwork—if it is a long title, you may use a keyword or abbreviation (i.e. 01Baker_Homeplace.tif).
Please include the following with your entry: Title, Medium, Scale (h x w inches), Date, Price.

Art Room presents its annual juried exhibition Now | Contemporary 2022 at Arts Fort Worth, which features a compelling group of artworks in a variety of media. The exhibition showcases work by Paul Armstrong, Lane Banks, Kimberlea Bass, Carol Benson, Michael Burns, Randall Day, Hector Del Campo, Mckee Frazior, Sara Ishii, Katie McKay Jones, Carlos Ocando, Raul Rodriguez, Abbie Stellar, Kathleen Thum, Amye Wake, and Matthew Wood. The show runs from March 4 through 26, 2022.
